1. Use Reusable Bags

Some states have made the use of plastic bags illegal or subject to additional fees. Reusable bag use benefits both the environment and your pocketbook!

 

2. Print as Little as Necessary

 

Everybody has had a professor or teacher who insisted on receiving a hard copy of the ten-page paper that was due the next week, or who demanded that we bring copies of every reading we had done before class. These are OK, however it appears that they are unaware of the harm that excessive paper use causes to the environment.

the assigned reading, ask your teacher if you are allowed to bring a laptop or e-reader to class. If not, use less paper by printing on both sides of the sheet.

You’ll be closer to your pals and save money by doing this instead of having everyone drive individually!

9. Reduce to consumption less meat         

One effective strategy to lessen your carbon footprint and save the environment is to consume less meat.
